At Whitchurch Under Fives our philosophy is based on the principle that ‘Every Child Matters’ and that their individual differences should be celebrated.   All children have the right to be valued as strong and competent learners with high self-esteem.  Children are curious, inquisitive, adventurous and resilient with their own opinions, thoughts and ideas about their world.  We believe children learn most effectively through play, with respectful relationships and interactions in a happy, stimulating environment.   We are committed to providing the highest standards in day care and aim to:-

1. Offer a friendly, safe and happy environment where children can learn through play.
   

1. Have a caring and free choice environment where each child is valued for themselves, feels secure and is happy and able to form positive relationships.

1. Enable children to make choices and decisions and support independence.
   

1. Encourage moral development and a sense of right and wrong.
   

1. Encourage a positive attitude towards learning in preparation for school.
   

We pride ourselves in achieving healthy lifestyles, with the aim that this may be carried into future life.

Most importantly, we help children to have a fun, positive experience whilst at Pre-school.
