Admissions
We recommend that you add your
child's name to our waiting list as soon as possible,
ideally before your child is 18 months old. Please
contact us on ( 01275 ) 547453. We will
inform you if your child has a place at Whitchurch Under
Five's by the January prior to the academic year they
will commence. We aim to make our pre-school
accessible to all children and families from all
sections of our local community.
Equal Opportunities
Whitchurch Under Five's welcomes all families into our
pre-school regardless of race, language, religion,
gender or disability.
Special Needs
We
provide opportunities for all children, whatever their
needs may be. When needed we will approach
recommended professionals for their advice. We
have a SEN co-ordinator and we all practice basic makaton ( sign language ) on a daily basis.
Child
Protection
We adhere
to child protection policy in accordance with
recommendations.
Fees
The
government provides funding for all 3 and 4 year old
children to attend an Early Years education setting.
This funding is called ' The Nursery Education Grant'.
All children become eligible for funding the term after
their third birthday. The grant funds your child
to attend a maximum of five sessions per
week. Please note:
-
You may have to pay fees until your child is eligible
for funding.
- Your child is entitled to government funding to a
maximum of five week. However, this is the total amount they can claim per
week, not per setting.
- Fees are paid each term. Please enquire
for fees and costs.
- Fees are still payable regardless if your child
is ill / on holiday.
- If for any reason out of our control pre-school
needs to close, parents who have paid fees will receive
a refund for cancelled sessions.
